FMX 2025<\/a> took place in Stuttgart early May and this year, our teams were honoured to be invited to present our work on\u00a0The Rings of Power – Season 2<\/em> <\/a>as part of the annual Houdini HIVE<\/a> event.<\/p>\n

Fabian Nowak, Head of FX, hosted an exclusive behind-the-scenes presentation on FX simulations, offering attendees a deep dive into the various types of effects our team crafted to bring the vast Dwarven kindgdom of Khazad-d\u00fbm to life, both deep under the mountains and towering above.<\/p>\n

He also broke down the work done behind the massive blast over Forodwaith, which required extensive concept art work and meticulous attention to details to portray the violent climate shift that marks the beginning of a new age in the story.<\/p>\n
