A year ago, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4<\/em><\/a>,’ directed by Chad Stahelski, was released in cinemas in France and was extremely well-received by the audience. With more than a million admissions in France, the film ranked within the Top 5 theatrical releases<\/a> in April 2023.<\/p>\n

Beyond France, the film was a massive hit in 2023, securing the top spot in theaters, Blu-ray sales, and VOD. Considered one of the top action films<\/a> of 2023, ‘John Wick: Chapter 4<\/em><\/a>‘ broke franchise records<\/a>, surpassing the $400 million mark at the global box office on May 1st, 2023. More than half of the earnings came from 86 international box offices.<\/p>\n

The Yard team was extremely proud to take part in bringing the fourth chapter of John Wick\u2019s adventures to screens. We notably worked on the explosion of The Continental, crafted many other FX and CG assets for skyline overlays, and even sand effects. We were very grateful that the quality of our work was nominated for the 2024 Genie Awards<\/a> in the Best FX category.<\/p>\n
