The Yard VFX continues to expand its team with the appointment of two new CG supervisors, Eve Chauvet and Bertrand Cabrol. Their expertise and extensive international experience at leading studios, notably in Canada, will strengthen The Yard\u2019s CG offerings across all domains and support the studio\u2019s growth \u2014 expanding its capabilities in an ever-evolving market.<\/span><\/p>\n

With over 20 years of experience in the industry, Eve Chauvet has built an impressive international career working in Amsterdam, London, Vancouver and Montreal. She honed her expertise as 2D and 3D artist, environment and CG supervisor at leading studios such as MPC, Framestore and, most recently, DNEG. Bertrand Cabrol brings a decade of experience, primarily gained in Montreal, where he progressed from a FX and environment artist to technical lead and then supervisor, ensuring the smooth operation and technological advancement of artistic departments, notably at Framestore and DNEG. This strategic hiring highlights The Yard\u2019s commitment to delivering high-quality and innovative CG solutions.<\/span><\/p>\n

Their respective filmographies reflect their expertise and versatility in demanding projects across diverse creative directions, for both film and streaming platforms. Among other major films, both contributed to Disney’s live-action remake of <\/span>Dumbo<\/span><\/i>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bertrand Cabrol\u2019s other standout credits include <\/span>Blade Runner 2049<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Deadpool 2<\/span><\/i>, <\/span>Watchmen<\/span><\/i>, and <\/span>The Mandalorian<\/span><\/i>. Meanwhile, Eve Chauvet has worked on acclaimed productions such as <\/span>Star Wars : Skeleton Crew, For All Mankind, Alien Covenant, Ghost in the Shell, Last Night in Soho,<\/span><\/i> and <\/span>Fantastic Beasts<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

I am thrilled to join The Yard team in Montpellier ! Returning to Montpellier, where I studied, and having the opportunity to work on both international and French projects is an incredible chance. I feel fortunate to reconnect with our French craftsmanship and, alongside Bertrand, bring a touch of our experience from some of the world's leading studios.<\/p>\n<\/div>
