« The Rings of Power – Season 2 » is nominated in three categories for the 23rd Annual VES Awards.
The Visual Effects Society (VES), the visual effects industry’s professional global honorary society, has announced the nominees for the 23rd Annual VES Awards. This prestigious celebration honors exceptional visual effects artistry and innovation across features, animation, television, commercials, games, and new media, spotlighting the VFX Supervisors, Producers, and Artists who bring these creations to life. Nominees in 25 categories were selected by VES members through a rigorous process, with 49 in-person and virtual panels convening across 30 continuous hours. Each submission underwent meticulous review, including “Befores and Afters,” by at least three judging panels. This year’s nominations reflect the global diversity of the Society, with panelists representing 307 cities in 24 countries.

- Outstanding Visual Effects in an Episode (Episode 4 : Eldest). The nominees are Jason Smith, Tim Keene, Ann Podlozny, Ara Khanikian, Ryan Conder.
- Outstanding Environment in an Episode, Commercial, Game Cinematic, or Real-Time Project. The nominnes are Yordan Petrov, our own Bertrand Cabrol, Lea Desrozier and Karan Dhandha.
- Outstanding Effects Simulations in an Episode, Commercial, Game Cinematic, or Real-Time Project. The nominnes are Koenraad Hofmeester, Miguel Perez Senent, Miguel Santana Da Silva and Billy Copley.
