HOUDINI HIVE BACK IN PARIS

Let’s meet on June 20 for the very first Houdini HIVE x Houdinimatic event in Paris for a full day dedicated to the art of effects simulations !

We’re excited to announce our participation in the very first Houdini HIVE x Houdinimatic event, taking place on June 20, 2026 at ISART Digital in Paris.

Organized in collaboration with SideFX and the Houdinimatic team, this special edition of the Paris HUG promises a full day dedicated to procedural creativity, technical artistry, and community exchange.

The event will feature a packed schedule of presentations from some of the leading French studios, interactive activities, and a social gathering sponsored by SideFX. With half of the talks presented in English and half in French, the event is designed to bring together artists, technical directors, and Houdini enthusiasts from across the community.

Fabian Nowak, Head of FX, will explain how FX can be subtle and still elevate visual storytelling.

Join us on a journey from Yautja Prime to Genna as we dive into the diverse effects that shaped three key sequences in Predator : Badlands, revealing how simple effects can be complex and still make the difference.
