From award-winning VFX to global industry showcases, the first half of 2026 has been a landmark period for our team, highlighting our work on Predator : Badlands. Here’s a look back at what made the past six months unforgettable.

What began as an expedition to map the harsh, geological violence of a predator’s homeworld—crafting everything from its fractured salt deserts to its luminous, crystalline depths—ventured far deeper into the film’s narrative fabric.

The first six months of 2026 have been filled with creative milestones and industry recognition for our VFX work on Predator:BadlandsFrom award wins to sharing our craft on the global stage, here’s a quick look at what we’ve accomplished so far.

Sharing our craft on stage

This creative journey was at the heart of our presentation at FMX 2026. Our founder and VFX Supervisor, Laurens Ehrmann, joined forces with Trixter’s VFX Supervisor, Dominik Zimmerle, to share exclusive insights into the European VFX expertise behind the film’s stunning imagery. Together, they unveiled how both studios seamlessly shared look development and assets to ensure visual continuity while elevating the environments, characters, creatures, and effects. As French media 3DVF reported, the conference was one of the event’s most popular sessions, delivering on its promise of exclusive content and inspiring creative collaboration.

The exploration went even deeper during the FMX 2026 Houdini HIVE track, where our Head of FX, Fabian Nowak, delivered an in-depth presentation on the subtle effects simulations that helped elevate the film’s visual storytelling.
