‘Fragile’, the debut feature film of Emma Benestan, is now in theatres.
Have you booked your cinema outing yet? Don’t miss “Fragile,” the debut feature film by Emma Benestan, to which the talented teams at The Yard had the pleasure of contributing with a beautiful full CG shot.
As noted by French media outlet Metropolitain, “Fragile” is the freshest film of the 2021 rentrée. Shot over two months in the picturesque town of Sète in the south of France, the film follows Az (played by Yasin Houicha), a young oyster farmer on a quest to win back a lost love, who has moved on to Giaccomo, a TV producer portrayed by Guillermo Guiz. Along the way, Az discovers a new kind of love. The film also features Oulaya Amamra, who won the César Award for Most Promising Actress in 2019 for her role in “Divines,” as Az’s childhood friend. Amamra previously starred in Benestan’s 2015 short film Belle Gueule.
Supported by Languedoc-Roussillon Cinéma, “Fragile” captivates with its freshness and stunning visuals, capturing the unique charm of Sète, an island with a thousand reflections of light.
