2024 Genie Awards : The Yard VFX nominated in 4 Categories

The Yard is nominated in four categories of the 2024 Genie Awards, namely for Best VFX in a Feature Film, Best VFX in a Series, Best Environment, Best FX, in which the work on international productions has been shortlisted.

PIDS Enghien has unveiled the nominees to 2024 Genie Awards. The Yard is proud to be shortlisted in every eligible categories !

The Digital Creation GENIE Awards celebrate French digital creation talents (VFX Supervisors, Digital Artists, Innovators…) and the Legends of special effects each year. After a first round of deliberation that took place on January 10th, the shortlisted projects and nominees in each category were officially announced last Friday.

In its 2024 edition, we are delighted to see The Yard VFX nominated in four different categories, highlighting the quality of work delivered by the teams on international productions such as ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny,’ ‘All The Light We Cannot See,’ and ‘John Wick: Chapter 4.’

Best Visual Effects – Film

The Yard VFX is nominated for the 2024 Genie Award of Best VFX in a FIlm. — The Yard's team -Laurens Ehrmann (Senior VFX Supervisor), Julien Martins (VFX SUpervisor), Diego COrdier-Royer (VFX Producer) and Gladys Georges (VFX Coordinator) - is nominated for the 2024 Genie Award in the Best VFX in a Film category for their work on 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'.

Best Visual Effects – Series

The Yard, represented by Harry Bardak (VFX Supervisor), ELisa Perez (VFX PRoducer), Julien Martins (Compositing Supervisor) and Pierre Jury (3D Supervisor), is nominated for the 2024 Genie Awards in the Best VFX in a Series category. — The Yard's VFX work on 'All The Light We Cannot See', the Netflix's limited series directed by Shawn Levy, is nominated for the 2024 Genie Award for Best VFX in a Series. Credits include Harry Bardak (VFX Supervisor), Elisa Perez (VFX Producer), Julien Martins (Compositing Supervisor) and Pierre Jury (3D Supervisor).

Best Environment

The Yard, represented by Laurens Ehrmann (Senior VFX Supervisor), Julien Martins (VFX Supervisor), Arnaud Ortmann (Compositing Supervisor) and Sandro Bertchi (Environment Artist), is nominated for the 2024 Genie Award in Best Environment category for their work on 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'.

Mathieu Trevisan (ENvironment Artist), Camille Juge (Compositing Artist), Antoine Gandon (Modeling Artist) and François Masle (Compositing Artist), representing The Yard, are nominated for their work on 'All The Light We Cannot See' for the 2024 Genie Award in the Best Environment category.

Best FX

The Yard, represented by Laurens Ehrmann (Senior VFX Supervisor), Harry Bardak (VFX Supervisor), Fabian Nowak (FX Supervisor) and Elisa Perez (VFX Producer), is nominated for the 2024 Genie Award in the Best FX category.
