On October 4th, ArtFX will inaugurate its new campus in Lille. As a strategic partner of the school, The Yard will participate in this very special day and host a special conference for the school’s students.
Save the date for October, 4th ! ArtFX will inaugurate its new campus in Lille’s Plaine Images. As a winner of the France 2030 call for project « La Grande Fabrique de l’Image », this new location is fully aligned with the school’s development plan. It will become a creative hub where the future of cinema, visual effects, and animation is shaped in the Hauts-de-France region. The campus, designed on 18,000 square meters by the French architectural firm Valode & Pistre, will house a 6,000-square-meter school capable of accommodating up to 700 students. It will also include 400 square meters of film studios, two spaces open to the city for businesses and services, an incubation area, and a student residence with 500 housing units.
Lille’s Plaine Images is dedicated to the development of cultural and creative industries. It already hosts more than 140 organizations, an incubator with 35 start-ups, 4 schools, and 2 research labs.
As a key partner to ArtFX, The Yard team is thrilled to participate in the upcoming inauguration. On this occasion, Laurens Ehrmann, CEO and Senior VFX Supervisor and Harry Bardak, Head of VFX will host a special conference for ArtFX Lille’s students.
