Directed by Shawn Levy, the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Anthony Doerr has been adapted into a four-part series for Netflix. Set during World War II, it follows « Marie-Laure (Aria Mia Loberti), a blind French girl and her father, Daniel (Mark Ruffalo), who flee German-occupied Paris with a legendary diamond to keep it from falling into the hands of the Nazis.”
The trailer shows Marie-Laure becoming a pivotal voice for her uncle Etienne (Hugh Laurie), as he’s enrolled in the French Resistance and records secret radio broadcasts.
