As BAFTA has officially announced the nominees for the 2025 TV Craft Awards, we celebrate The Rings of Power – Season 2 being recognized in the Special, Visual, and Graphic Effects category.
We are thrilled to share that The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power Season 2 has been nominated for a prestigious BAFTA TV Craft Award in the Special, Visual, and Graphic Effects category. For over 75 years, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has been a champion of creative talent, and this nomination is a valuable recognition of the creative excellence in the British television industry.
We are incredibly proud to have contributed to this ambitious production and extend our warmest congratulations to the nominees:
- Jason Smith – Overall VFX Supervisor
- Richard Bain – VFX Supervisor 2nd Unit
- Ryan Conder – Special Effects Supervisor
- Chris Rodgers – Senior Colorist
We’ll be keeping our fingers crossed until the ceremony, which will take place on April 27th at 4:45 PM BST at The Brewery, London, hosted by Stacey Dooley.
This nomination follows a Saturn Award nomination earlier this year, along with two Genie Awards received by our teams in January. Our VFX team was honored to contribute approximately 250 shots to The Rings of Power Season 2, helping bring its stunning world to life.
