J.FIG 2023 : Where VFX Industry and Research meet

Save the Date – On November 8, Alexis Oblet, the CTO of The Yard, will speak at the Les Journées Françaises de l’Informatique Graphique conference !

Les Journées Françaises de l’Informatique Graphique – J.FIG – (The French Days of Computer Graphics) is an annual event that brings together around a hundred French experts in the field of computer graphics, half of whom are ph.D students.

Since 1993, these annual meetings have gathered all French research laboratories specializing in the field of computer graphics, forming a well-structured community with the French Association of Computer Graphics (AFIG), as well as representatives from the industry.

The 2023 edition will take place from November 8 to 10 in Montpellier. As a well-known representative in the field, The Yard has been invited to participate in the conference. The studio will be represented by Alexis Oblet, CTO of The Yard, who will speak during keynotes, special sessions, and panel discussions.
