The limited series, adapted from the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel and directed by Shawn Levy, ‘All The Light We Cannot See,’ was released on November 2nd, 2023, on Netflix.
During its first weekend and the initial week of release, the series topped the Global Netflix Chart, accumulating close to 20 million views. Five weeks later, it still maintains a position among the Top 10 Global TV shows.
It’s a source of great pride for our teams to have contributed to the VFX for 334 shots in this wonderful project.
Today, as we celebrate World VFX Day, we are thrilled to share some details about our work with you. In the VFX showreel below, you’ll see how we created the town of Saint-Malo, featuring bombed buildings and rubble, including its partially destroyed enclosure walls. Additionally, we incorporated digital crowds, fire, and smoke effects, among other effects.
