The Yard VFX is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Owen as the new Studio Manager for its recently launched London office. With over 15 years of experience in the VFX industry, Ben Owen has an impressive career history, having worked at world-renowned and multinational studios such as Framestore, MPC, DNEG, and One of Us.
We are delighted to welcome Ben to The Yard ! “His extensive experience in both talent acquisition and studio operations, alongside his knowledge of the international VFX industry, makes him the ideal manager for our new London team. His deep understanding of the UK market aligns with our mission to elevate local talent and establish a stronger presence as a key player in the VFX sector.
In his new role, Ben Owen will work closely with The Yard’s management team, composed of seasoned professionals with a wealth of experience in international productions. Together, they will ensure that the London studio upholds The Yard’s commitment to delivering world-class visual effects while continuing to attract major international projects that are ambitious and creative, along with top-tier talent, all within a unique, human-scale working environment.
