Mark your calendar for the first regional SATIS event in Montpellier !

SATIS+, a brand-new regional event dedicated to innovation, collaboration, and creativity in the audiovisual industry, will be launched on July 9, 2025, in Montpellier!

Building on the spirit of SATIS, a major French-speaking trade show for media, entertainment, and audiovisual communication technologies, SATIS+ aims to bring the community to life year-round by creating moments of convergence, synergy, and energy throughout the regions.

SATIS+ will take place in a different region for each edition, focusing on areas with strong audiovisual ecosystems. At The Yard, we are very happy to see that the very first edition will be organized in Montpellier, a dynamic city known for its creative energy and innovation, where our second studio is located. This one day event will feature exhibitions, live demos, inspiring conferences and networking opportunities.

Organized with the support of the Department of Attractiveness, Economic Development and Employment of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole, and Montpellier Entreprendre, SATIS+ is a unique opportunity to connect with professionals, creators, and institutional partners in the audiovisual sector.

This one-day event will address key topics such as the impact of new technologies on the skills professionals must develop to thrive in a transforming industry; the initiatives led by local companies to gain international visibility; and the importance of cross-sector collaboration for the sustainable growth of the regional audiovisual ecosystem. Don’t miss the participation of The Yard’s founder and Senior VFX Supervisor, Laurens Ehrmann, in the conference, on July 9th at 2:30pm.

‘Case Studies : From Montpellier to the International Stage’

This session, moderated by Laurent Michaud, CEO at OSPEX Consulting, specialized in media and creative industries, will highlight regional initiatives with strong international potential, led by players based in Montpellier and its surrounding area. He will be interviewing Florian Thiebaux (Saraband/PICS Studio), Olivier Pinol (Dward Animation Studio), Claudia Zimmer (CYME), Laurens Ehrmann (The Yard VFX) and Francis Ingrand (Plug in Digital).
