French media outlet Écran Total profiles six leaders driving France’s VFX and post-production sector—featuring The Yard’s Head of Production, Virginie Wintrebert.
We are thrilled to share that leading French trade publication Écran Total recently published a spotlight on six influential figures who are driving innovation and excellence across France’s VFX and post-production landscape.
We are incredibly proud to see Virginie Wintrebert, Head of Production at The Yard, recognized alongside esteemed industry peers such as Nicolas Rigaud (Digital District), Sophie Leclerc (Rodeo FX), Lise Fischer (The Mill), Charles Bussienne (Polyson), and Romain Bourzeix (Spline).
Here is a look at what Écran Total shared about Virginie’s journey:
Passionate about imagery since her teenage years, Virginie Wintrebert holds a Master’s degree in Media Engineering from the Ingemedia Institute in Toulon. She began her career at Duran Duboi in 2007 on numerous French films, including Jean-Jacques Annaud’s ‘Black Gold’ (Or Noir), before joining major international studios such as Rodeo FX and Framestore in Canada.
Today, as Head of Production at The Yard, she and her team orchestrate the work of nearly 150 artists on complex, long-term productions. She recently collaborated on ‘Predator: Badlands‘ and Season 2 of ‘The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power‘, with work currently underway on the upcoming season.
Congratulations to Virginie and all the talented leaders featured in this spotlight for pushing the boundaries of post-production!
