The PIDS Enghien is coming back next week with a rich program dedicated to visual effects, the challenges and evolutions of our vivid industry. The Yard VFX will be actively participating to this year’s event.
PIDS 2023 will once more be crossing the creative, technical and economic challenges of our constantly evolving sector. As usual, attendees will discover the latest trends and innovations in digital visual effects, CGI, motion-capture, 3-D and disruptive technologies in cinema, television, advertising, video games and transmedia.

SFX – MFX – VFX / The Invisible Ties
Fabian Nowak, Head of FX, The Yard VFX will be participating to a roundtable on the growing complementarity between physical effects and visual effects. How do the different professionals intervene on the same trick, with what limits, what boundaries between their different techniques?

Into ‘The Gray Man’
Harry Bardak, VFX Supervisor and Laurens Ehrmann, Senior VFX Supervisor at The Yard VFX will offer a deep dive into the crafting of the various digital visual effects on The Gray Man, directed by The Russo Brothers for Netflix.
The conference will be held from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
