Tirailleurs – the first French film to top one million admissions in 2023

Tirailleurs, the war film directed by Mathieu Vadepied and starring Omar Sy, has become the first major success of 2023, surpassing the symbolic figure of one million admissions.
Presented as the opening film in the Un Certain Regard selection at the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Tirailleurs has been released in theatres on January 4, 2023. Less than a month later, the film has become the first French film to top more than 1 million admissions.
We join all the film’s teams in celebrating this major milestone – the public’s recognition of a story that is sure to leave a lasting impression. We are very proud to be part of this important project.
