The Australian Effects and Animation Festival has announced the finalists for the 2024 awards, which include works completed by The Yard on ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ and ‘All The Light We Cannot See’.
The Australian Effects & Animation Festival (AEAF) is a prestigious celebration of VFX, animation, and immersive media. Its annual international competition recognizes creative and technical excellence in the use of visual effects and animation in screened works. Judging criteria include technical skill, artistry, the quality of visual effects and animation, their appropriateness within the overall project, and their contribution to storytelling. On its first submission, The Yard is honored to have been selected as a finalist in three categories for the 2024 AEAF Awards :
The VFX crafted by The Yard on ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny‘, directed by James Mangold, is a finalist in two categories:
- Feature Film VFX,
- Feature Films sequence for « The Drain Sequence ».
The Yard’s VFX work on « All The Light We Cannot See, » directed by Shawn Levy, is announced as a finalist in the TV series category.
