The French Experience 2026

Meet The Yard team in Los Angeles ! Our founder and creative director, Laurens Ehrmann, and our Head of Production, Virginie Wintrebert, will be back at the « US Filmmaking in France : Living the French Experience » event.

Film France-CNC, in partnership with Villa Albertine and the French Institute for Culture and Education, returns to Los Angeles on November 4 for the 4th edition of “U.S. Filmmaking in France: Living the French Experience.”

We are thriled to have been selected thisn year again to be part of the French VFX studios representing France’s creative excellence in visual effects. Founder and Creative Director Laurens Ehrmann, and Head of Production Virginie Wintrebert will be pleased to share their experience on some of our team’s recent work for major Hollywood productions, including Whalefall, Stranger Things 5, The Family Plan 2, and Predator : Badlands.  The Yard also contributed to the latest epic French blockbuster De Gaulle: Liberté.

The Yard’s ongoing slate of productions features several high-profile projects, including the third season of  The Rings of Power, a series for Amazon MGM Studios, and two films for Netflix.

Let’s meet on November 4 at the Directors Guild of America for a for series of conferences, one-on-one meetings, and networking opportunities. We will be pleased to discuss the French experience in creating stunning visual effects for U.S. productions! We look forward to connecting with global filmmakers and sharing how The Yard brings cinematic worlds to life — from France to the world.
